Zillow Mortgage Marketplace's current mortgage rates in Texas for 30-year fixed-rate mortgages increased 1 basis point from 4.06% to 4.07% on Thursday. State mortgage rates today ranged from the lowest rate of 3.81% (HI) to the highest rate of 4.21% (UT). Texas mortgage rates today are 1 basis point higher than the national average of 4.06%.

The Texas mortgage interest rate on September 1, 2011, is up 4 basis points from last week's average Texas rate of 4.03%.
